The El Salvador Mission Trip for 2009 was an exceptional endeavor for witnessing and ministering.  The team of 23 was a group of special gifted servants of the Lord; medical teams, evangelism teams, Soles for Souls, bible Schools, Conferences for Men and Women  and new church starts.  Thousands of dollars of medicine, hundreds of dollars for shoes and the extravagant love of sacrificial servants touched hundreds of lives. 

Crusades & Revivals were conducted in Brownsville, TN Carthage, TN, Rockwood TN, Ramer TN, Florence AL, Martin TN, Perry GA, Birmingham AL, and Daviston AL.  Scores of souls were saved and hundreds of lives were challenged and touched by the Glorious Gospel. 

The Tape Ministry continues to be effective with over 2,500 tapes mailed.  Reports come in monthly of some area of someone’s life touched and changed and some soul was encouraged to keep on, keeping on for Jesus!

Longcrest Baptist Church gave us the opportunity to have a place to minister when home and that has been a great blessing.  The ministry privilege of our 30 Sundays to preach at Longcrest this past year and see the Lord at work through those faithful people has been a special blessing.  Souls have been saved and baptized and the Lord has brightened the light of His Glory in that area of the city.

Fiftieth Wedding Anniversary and Fiftieth year of  Ordained Ministry.  What a joy to have a great celebration event on August 22nd of our 50th year of marriage.  To have over 200 friends to travel long distances to share with us and to know too, the Lord’s anointing and blessing in these 50 years of ministry.  This February will mark the beginning of 37 years in Evangelism—what a blessing.
