El Salvador - February 9-17, 2002 A team of 32 people led by Benny and Shirley Jackson experienced the moving of the hand of the Lord. These volunteers were from West and East Tennessee, Alabama, Nevada and California.
Medical Clinics were conducted each day in two different locations. With 2 Medical Teams, they saw more than 2,000 patients and they distributed medicine, free of charge, with a retail street value of $300,000 to $400,000!
A Dental Team treated over 250 patients, performing extractions, fillings, cleanings and one root canal (without an x-ray!).
Crusades were held each night in Santa Ana, Chalchuapa, Amante Blanco and El Provenir resulting in 150 to 200 professions of faith. This is an estimate because not all of the figures were in for the last day of ministry before the team left for home. Each decision was recorded and given to a local church for follow up.
There were several decisions made by local helpers that assisted us in so many ways and one of those was the local Doctor that worked with the Medical Team. There were many other decisions made other than those at the crusades and medical clinics. There were block parties, Bible schools, along with street preaching, tract distribution and evangelism at the construction sites.

Over 7,500 Gospel Tracts were distributed along with 400 Spanish Bibles and Bi-lingual New Testaments.
A Construction Team dug and poured footings for a new church building, installed floor tile in an existing church and installed exterior lighting for a large, paved, open-air meeting place next to the church.
A Bible school was held each day at 2 locations for more than 500 children. They learned Bible stories and truths. They received care packages, Bible material and a lot of love.
Over 500 pairs of glasses were provided for future distribution after a local Optometrist had provided prescriptions for the glasses and people.
Several cases of good clothing was distributed. This was much appreciated by many that had lost all in the earthquake last year.
Two block parties were held at different locations utilizing the Clown Ministry and other members of the team in entertaining and witnessing to the large crowds.
We want to say a special thanks to the team members who gave of their time, resources, talents, and energies to participate in this needy work. Also, we want to thank the churches and supporters who contributed toward the travel for the team, for the Medical Packs, construction materials, Bibles, Tracts, clothes and many other supplies. Thanks too, for the Sunday School Classes and individuals who contributed financially to the general needs of the mission. A special thank you goes to those who stood with us in their daily prayers.
